In the village of Bodešče there is a church whose patron saint is Sv. Lenart, with name day on November 7th. In the past on Sunday after the name day of the patron saint, there was a mass and village fair, with abundance of food, dance, socializing and music.
That is why we will be organizing the Open Doors Day and Lenart's fair on November 10th, at which we will have a toast to the house and homestead. The dedication will be followed by a guided tour of the house and its premises through various stories and narratives. As the tradition commands visitors will treated to a stew, homemade bread with smoked pork lard and homemade dried meat delicacies. In addition to that the "blacksmith", potica, flancati and other local delicacies will be served. With a good drink and folk music, we will all sing and dance together and experience how they used to celebrate the harvest in the village. The afternoon will go by in a fast, cheerful and fun tone.
